The house awaits you with a full staff:
Rosalind will take care of all your daily basic needs such as housekeeping, as well as preparing your first dinner and breakfast upon arrival.

Feel free to ask her to cook for you on a regular basis if you wish (to be arranged directly with Rosalind).

If you arrive after 4 PM, Tinny, our supervisor, will be your first stop at Sugar Hill restaurant right across from our house. She will hand you the keys and get you acquainted with the house.

Our caretaker Michael, will oversee the pool, and the garden daily.

The house is equipped in 220V (British plugs) power but provides also for some 110V power in the den and the kitchen. CHECK CAREFULLY THE VOLTAGE BEFORE CONNECTING YOUR PERSONAL APPLIANCES. No high wattage US appliances (hairdryers are supplied).

Water is precious on the island since Bequia lives on rain water. The house seats on a 50,000 gallons water tank.

This is a No Smoking house except for the outdoors
Dress code goes from casual to informal even in the most �trendy� restaurants of Bequia

Nothing is very far in the small island of Bequia. Rent a car or just call up a taxi (tell them you are in the big house across from the Sugar Hill Restaurant at Mt Pleasant, they will know), and you will be within 10mn of Princess Margaret Beach , Lower Bay, or Friendship Bay, some of the best unspoiled beaches in the Caribbeans.

If you rent a car, don�t forget that you need a local driving license at a cost EC $50 (1 US Dollar = +/- 2.67 EC Dollars) easily obtained by taking your home driver's license to the Revenue Office in Port Elizabeth. Drivers must be over 25 years of age and have a clean driving license
